I want to control my error quota by capturing only a limited number of errors for each issue.

It isn’t possible to limit the number of events accepted for a specific issue (distinct error) in Sentry through a built-in setting. Currently, Sentry does not offer per-issue event caps. While there have been multiple requests for this capability, it isn’t on the roadmap. Instead, we recommend using alternative quota management approaches to control event volume.
