Issue
I'd like to downgrade my reserved events for a data category (ex. errors, performance units, etc.) but it's not clear to me when will the changes be applied.

Resolution
Reserved capacity is purchased for the current monthly period and cannot be downgraded mid-month.
Downgrading will schedule a reduction of your reserved capacity for the following monthly billing period.
