Issue
I have selected the EU as my data storage location and am currently working on whitelisting IP addresses for event ingestion. However, the event ingestion IP addresses appear to be registered in the US. Is this the only option? We are aiming to keep all data within the EU.

Resolution
The IP addresses used for EU event ingestion are globally registered and may appear to be based in the US. However, this does not reflect where the data is processed or stored. All data sent through these global IPs are routed appropriately by the network based on your selected data residency.
While your event data is processed and stored in the EU, please note that not all data remains solely within the EU. Some metadata and operational data may still be stored in the US. This behavior is not configurable. You can refer to the documentation here for more details on data residency and what data is stored where.
