Issue
Microsoft is deprecating the old DevOps platform the Sentry integration was built on, effective September 30th. What should I do as I am using the Azure DevOps integration?
Applies To
- Organizations that currently have an active Azure DevOps integration
Resolution
To avoid any disruption to how Azure tasks sync with Sentry issues, you'll need to re-authenticate your Azure DevOps integration before September 30th. Here’s how:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Azure DevOps → Add Installation.
- Install a new Azure DevOps integration using the same configurations as your existing setup. If you have multiple configurations, you’ll need to Add Installation for each one.
Here is a walkthrough of the process:
What to know:
- Using the same configuration as the existing integration ensures your current integration is overwritten and re-authorized without needing to create a new one.
- Re-authenticating will not impact your current product experience. It simply ensures the integration remains functional.
- If you don’t re-authenticate by September 30, the integration may stop working. Existing issues won’t sync, and new issues won’t trigger Azure tasks.
- To complete the installation flow you need organization administrator permissions
